Q: Please send a note home to remind all parents that when they enter the parking lot the most important thing they need to do is concentrate on driving safely. Parents need to put down the cell phone and focus on what is happening in the parking lot. There will be a serious accident if parents, delivery drivers, and visitors are not driving safely.

A: Because of the emphasis CCC puts on safety, we would like to remind families of the importance of paying attention while operating your vehicle in our parking lot. Throughout the day, we have a constant flow of people and vehicles in our parking lot, either entering or exiting with their children. It is critical that those driving are focusing on their surroundings and not being distracted by other matters (i.e.: cell phones, smoking, loud music). In order to offer the safest environment possible for the children, families and staff, we ask that drivers abstain from any activities that may cause a distraction while in our parking lot. Instead, we ask that you focus on the people and vehicles around you. Thank you for your cooperation.

Q: Could new staff receive name tags? It is nice to know your child's teachers name when new staff are in their room.

A: We have taken the pictures of all the new staff and will distribute name tags as soon as they are ready.

Q:  Would it be possible to have video monitors so parents can check in online throughout the day. I know that there are daycare centers that offer this.

A:  Due to the high cost of the system, we are not able to add surveillance at this time.  Our next capital expenditure will be the fence in the front of the building, which is what our future fundraising efforts will focus on.
