Teacher Qualifications
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
Impeccable references and a proven track record of caring and nurturing children to provide them with a great start to their educational careers
The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience (we are looking for staff that are at least a level 9 on the Registry)
Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
Must be at least 18 years of age

Childcare Teacher
- Develop weekly lesson plans and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Perform on-going developmental evaluations of children
- Complete monthly goals and observations for each child in your classroom
- Maintain accurate, complete and timely records: attendance, meal counts, updated child portfolios, updated emergency forms
- Monitor children's interactions to nurture cooperation and sharing
- Incorporate physical activity throughout the day
This is a full-time role.
Assistant Teacher/Float
- Help to implement weekly lesson plans and implement age-appropriate curriculum

- Assist the lead teacher in completing monthly goals and observations for each child
- Assist the lead teacher in maintaining accurate, complete and timely records: attendance, meal counts, updated child portfolios and emergency forms
- Monitor children's interactions to nurture cooperation and sharing
- Incorporate physical activity throughout the day
This can be a part- or full-time role.
